Therapy Services

Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy

West Valley Therapy Services and Saint Alphonsus Rehabilitation Services (STARS) offer physical, occupational and speech therapy services to both inpatients and outpatients of West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell.

Outpatient Therapy Care

Physical Therapy The outpatient clinics - one located at 222 E. Elm St., adjacent to the hospital, and the other at the Caldwell Family YMCA - are the most comprehensive resources available to adults and children in Canyon County. Each of our staff has a wide variety of training and experience, and is passionate about using a team approach in addressing every patient ailment.

The pediatric physical, occupational and speech therapy services include testing and treatment for motor and functional disabilities addressing the spectrum of diagnoses from autism to developmental delay.

Our staff includes two speech therapy clinicians who are certified in VitalStim treatment (available for pediatric and adult patients) for speech and swallow.

Our adult services include multi-disciplinary therapy treatments for neurologic and general orthopedic impairments. We also have two certified McKenzie practitioners on staff for specialized spine care.

Our adult occupational therapy specialties include pelvic floor/incontinence treatment, vision therapy and ergonomics.
