Urology Services

The specialized urological team at West Valley Medical Center comprises some of the most sought-after urologists in the Treasure Valley who’ve chosen to provide their expert care to patients in and around Canyon County.

Specialty Surgical Services

Urology surgical care services include treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which can be treated with an outpatient procedure called Greenlight Laser PVP. Because it also involves immediate prostate tissue removal, it is an effective treatment for BPH, with the advantage of a faster recovery time that doesn’t require an overnight hospital stay.

Additional urological procedures performed at West Valley Medical Center include prostate cryoablation, prostatectomy, nephrectomy, lithotripsy for kidney stone treatment and several other specialty procedures.
