Conquering COVID event brings new era of hope with art unveiling
We unveiled our Break COVID art piece on Monday, March 28, 2022 that serves as a symbol that beauty can come from brokenness. It was part of our “Conquering COVID” event marking two years of the pandemic and ushering in a new era of hope.
Artist Lorrie Byerly created the art piece from our Break COVID event held in the Fall of 2021 when our colleagues threw glassware at a coronavirus painted on a wall outside of the hospital. It was a cathartic experience.
The “Conquering COVID” event included the art unveiling and free fries and ice cream for our colleagues from Gyro Shack Lamb Weston and Negranti Creamery- they wanted to say thank you to our team. Thank you to all involved! It was a truly special event.
