Two Local Youth Awarded Healthcare Scholarships
CALDWELL, Idaho – Two Nampa residents have been chosen to receive $2,000 scholarships toward their respective health related college education. The winners are:
- Jonathan Lai, a graduate of Nampa High School, will be attending Boise State University, majoring in pharmacy this fall. Jon was a member of the Nampa Chapter of the National Honor Society, a volunteer for the America Red Cross, UNICEF, and West Valley Medical Center.
- Trevor Lee, a graduate of Nampa Christian High School, will be attending Boise State University for radiology this fall. Trevor was a member of the varsity football and basketball teams and National Honor Society. He also volunteers for the Rescue Mission, his church and school.
Two scholarships of $2,000 are awarded annually to non-employee students within the hospital’s service area who will be pursuing a two, three, or four-year degree in an allied health program at an accredited college or university. Scholarship criteria focus is placed on academic performance and interest in an allied health field.
