West Valley celebrates completion of multi-million dollar refresh

West Valley Medical Center celebrated the completion of a transformative, multi-million dollar interior refresh with colleagues and the community during a ribbon cutting. This project has spanned three years and improved key spaces throughout the hospital. ‌‌The renovation is designed to better support the healing atmosphere of West Valley and enhance the patient and visitor experience, while also improving the work environment for the hospital’s dedicated colleagues.

The extensive project includes state-of-the-art upgrades to the surgery space, Behavioral Health Unit (BHU), Medical Surgical floor, Orthopedic and Spine floor, as well as the Main and Emergency Room (ER) lobbies. The renovation was aimed at creating a more comfortable and welcoming environment, ensuring that West Valley remains at the forefront of healthcare excellence in the area.

Key updates include modernized spaces equipped with the latest medical technologies, redesigned patient floors that prioritize comfort and privacy, and upgraded common areas aimed at reducing stress and promoting recovery. The hospital’s new ER lobby, featuring improved access and waiting areas, as well as the revamped Orthopedic/Spine and Medical-Surgical floors, represent significant investments in the hospital's ongoing mission to provide high-quality healthcare.
