West Valley Hosts 5k/10 to Raise Funds for Caldwell YMCA

Caldwell, ID – The West Valley 5K/10K annual event will be held on Saturday, April 19 at 10am, with a warm-up showcasing YMCA classes starting at 9:30am. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Caldwell Family YMCA for health and wellness programs.

The race begins at West Valley Medical Center, located at 1717 Arlington Avenue in Caldwell. Race participants can pick up their event packets from 3pm - 7pm Friday, April 18 in the hospital’s Indian Creek Room or 9am - 9:30am on race day.

The 10K portion is a run only, while the 5K portion is a run/walk. Participants will enjoy free massages, joint screenings, prize drawings, post-race potato bar party, and family-friendly activities including face-painting and an inflatable jump house.

Participants can register online at ymcatvidaho.org or by downloading the registration form at westvalleyisbetter.com. Shirts and goodie bags are guaranteed to the first 500 entries. Registration forms are also available in the lobby at West Valley and the Caldwell YMCA.
