This places West Valley among the top acute care hospitals in the United States. The recognition highlights leadership in health equity, patient outcomes, and commitment to serving as an inclusive community partner.

The Lown Institute—an independent healthcare think tank—evaluated more than 3,600 hospitals and 300 health systems nationwide. The index is the only comprehensive measure that assesses hospitals on metrics beyond clinical care, including health equity, community benefit, inclusivity and value of care. With no application process or fees, the Index provides an unbiased look at how hospitals perform as stewards of community health.
