The Medical Staff of West Valley Medical Center is proud to announce the recipients of the 2025 West Valley Medical Staff Scholarship. This annual scholarship will be used this school year, supporting high school seniors who recently graduated and plan to pursue careers in the healthcare field.
With over 200 multicultural physicians representing a wide array of educational backgrounds and specialties, the Medical Staff Executive Committee at West Valley Medical Center is deeply committed to supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals. This scholarship was established to help students from local communities access the education needed to make a difference in the medical field.
"The members of our medical staff have a strong connection to Caldwell and these scholarships are an expression of that connection," said Dr. Lyndon Box, West Valley Medical Staff President. "The students receiving these awards have demonstrated the characteristics that are necessary for a successful medical career. Our hope is that these scholarships will help realize their goals and as a result, many others will be helped. Wherever their journey leads, the pride of our community will be with them."
Each recipient has demonstrated outstanding academic achievement, community involvement, and a clear commitment to pursuing a healthcare career as a physician, registered nurse, physician assistant, or other vital medical role. Scholarship awards range from $500 to $1,000.
