Beyond Bigger. Beyond Better.
When any new leader arrives on the scene, they spend time listening, learning and then formulating a vision for where to take the organization. This past fall, my leadership team and I rolled this vision out to our employees and our board. I felt that it generated great enthusiasm and excitement for our future.
The vision is to be лЯBeyond Bigger. Beyond Better.л That means:
- West Valley grows to meet the needs of our community лв we need to provide the services that our community demands and deserves лв and we must do them well.
- West Valley is a destination for our patients лв we provide the quality outcomes and the experience that make patients choose West Valley over other hospitals.
- West Valley will attract and retain the best employees лв we provide an exceptional environment that cultivates the finest employees who are committed to personal and professional excellence.
- Our physicians and providers canлЊt imagine a world without West Valley лв we welcome and nurture our physicians, and create a flawless experience for them and their patients.
- West Valley is a community cornerstone лв we give back to our community in time, talent and treasure.
Ultimately, we need to continue to elevate лв thatлЊs what I mean by лЯBeyond Bigger. Beyond Better.л We need to elevate our staff, we need to elevate our services, we need to elevate our patient experience and we need to elevate our physician experience.
West Valley is poised for the next level. West Valley is a wonderful organization with incredible medical staff, nursing staff and ancillary staff. We take great care of our patients, our employees and our doctors. West Valley has grown tremendously over the past 4-5 years лв increasing volumes, increasing services, elevating who we are. The vision of лЯBeyond Bigger. Beyond Better.л will ensure that we see exponential growth that far exceeds the expectations of our community, employees and medical staff.
We have a concrete plan to achieve this vision and, needless to say, there is a lot to do. I am excited for where we are headed and look forward to sharing our many successes along the way. I am honored to have you with us on this journey and appreciate all that you do for West Valley both now and in the future.
