MyHealthOne Provide Reports and Laboratory Results
In an effort to increase patient engagement and patient access to clinical information, some Provider Reports were deployed to MyHealthOne on November 1, 2016. Provider Reports are being phased into MyHealthOne in an incremental manner. The initial wave of Provider Reports will include hospital Discharge Summaries, which are currently available in the MEDITECH patient portal, and Emergency Room Provider Reports.
Provider Reports in MyHealthOne will mirror the delay currently used in the MEDITECH patient portal. All Provider Reports in MyHealthOne will have a 96-hour delay from final signing before the reports will be made available in MyHealthOne.
Only Provider Reports (with the exception of Radiology Reports) dated November 1, 2016 or later will display in MyHealthOne.
Note: Any report flagged as Behavioral Health (“BH”) or Psychology (“PSY”) will not display in MyHealthOne. In addition, the inclusion of supplemental provider reports will be determined by the Clinical Informatics Governance Committee.
The goal in including provider reports in MyHealthOne is to engage and empower patients and their caregivers. By increasing the availability of provider notes, patients can view documents crucial to their care easily in one platform. Access to this information can help patients be more confident managing their health. This can also promote patient education and help prevent errors.
