PatientKeeper NoteWriter Pilot Update

As you may remember from the previous newsletter, the Division selected West Valley Medical Center as the pilot-site for PatientKeeper NoteWriter. While there are similarities between both Meditech Provider Documentation (pDOC) and PatientKeeper NoteWriter, NoteWriter offers a user-friendly interface and additional flexibility for customizing electronic notes.

The hospitalists went live with using PatientKeeper for documentation on 12/04/2017. Since go-live, the group has done over 600 notes within the PatientKeeper application. That accounts for 12%-13% of all notes completed within the facility. Quite a success!

HCA continues to enhance the application and we look forward to optimizing additional features based on user feedback.

If your group is interested in utilizing PatientKeeper Notewriter, reach out to Lyndsey Jacobs, Lacie Fantaski or Abigail Murray.
