West Valley Medical Centeris honored to once again be the recipient of several Healthgrades awards and ratings for 2017:

Grade "A" on The Leapfrog Group's Biannual Hospital Safety Score

West Valley received its fifth consecutive "A" grade in the biannual Hospital Safety Score published by The Leapfrog Group. The designation recognizes exceptional performance in consistently meeting evidence-based patient safety guidelines. The "A" grade for fall 2016 is a continuation of West Valley's record of top honors from The Leapfrog Group. Since its first Hospital Safety Score review in 2012, the hospital has received eight "A" grades — the most of any facility in Idaho.

Get with the Guidelines: Heart Failure Gold Plus Achievement Award

For the fifth consecutive year, West Valley Medical Center has received the gold level of national recognition for high-quality cardiac care from the American Heart Association's Get with the Guidelines program. This signifies the hospital has reached an aggressive goal of treating heart failure patients with 85 percent compliance for at least 24 months to core standard levels of care outlined by the American Heart Association/American College of Cardiology secondary prevention guidelines for heart failure patients.
