Those who suffer from chronic mental illness need supportive healthcare to help them live a fuller life. West Valley's inpatient mental health care program is here to provide short-term psychiatric support. Our unit is designed to meet the psychological and physical healthcare needs of patients age 18 years old and older. With an emphasis on patient recovery, we aim to ensure the comfort, safety and well-being of all our patients.
Inpatient psychiatric care
Our inpatient behavioral health program is designed for people in need of short-term, acute mental healthcare. The program is completed while the patient is hospitalized, meaning they stay overnight in the hospital for a number of days determined by their doctor. Treatment focuses on working through immediate problems, then developing new coping skills to continue living in a positive, healthy manner.
Our mental health and wellness program also offers an outpatient mental health program for patients who are not in need of the 24-hour monitoring of full hospitalization.
