Adding to West Valley's Chest Pain Accreditation and new Cardiac Catheterization Lab, this certification enables us to better serve the healthcare needs of local patients, closer to home.

West Valley was recently named to the 2016 лЯ100 Great Community Hospitalsл list from BeckerлЊs Hospital Review. WeлЊre the only facility in Idaho to receive this distinction.
For inclusion in this list, the BeckerлЊs editorial team considered hospitals with fewer than 550 beds and rankings and awards from one or more notable healthcare review organizations. In addition to providing local residents with advanced healthcare services, West Valley is also a proud supporter of many events and organizations that benefit residents of Canyon County and its surrounding communities, including the Caldwell Family YMCA, Caldwell Night Rodeo Power of Pink Program, Canyon County Meals on Wheels and Caldwell and Middleton Relay for Life events.

West Valley received its fourth consecutive лЯAл grade in the biannual Hospital Safety Score published by The Leapfrog Group. The designation recognizes exceptional performance in consistently meeting evidence-based patient safety guidelines. The лЯAл grade for spring 2016 is a continuation of West ValleyлЊs record of top honors from The Leapfrog Group. Since its first Hospital Safety Score review in 2012, the hospital has received seven лЯAл grades лг the most of any facility in Idaho.

For a third consecutive year, West Valley has been named one of the nationлЊs 100 Top HospitalsхЈ by Truven Health AnalyticsуЂ, a leading provider of information and solutions to improve the cost and quality of healthcare.
Each year, Truven Health Analytics conducts independent, quantitative research of patient outcomes and safety, national treatment standards (core measures), patient satisfaction, operational efficiency and financial stability at more than 3,000 hospitals nationwide. According to Truven, the facilities selected to the 100 Top Hospitals list have consistently demonstrated quality care at a reasonable cost.
