2017 West Valley Medical Center Community Report

The 2017 West Valley annual report titled, “Healthcare for Real Life” highlights the incredible work being done by our providers and staff each day to ensure patient safety, quality, and outcomes. “Healthcare for Real Life” also puts a spotlight on our charitable contributions and economic investment in Caldwell.

Here are a few highlights from the report:

  • Safety is our No. 1 priority with every patient, every day. We’re very proud of our safety record and the awards we’ve received as a result, including a grade “A” on the latest Hospital Safety Score from The Leapfrog Group and the 2018 Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Award.
  • West Valley providers and staff take their tradition of giving seriously, donating more than $100,000 to local charities and community organizations in 2017.
  • We also invest significantly in our community by paying our fair share in taxes, paying our employees a livable wage, and providing charitable care to some of our most vulnerable friends and neighbors.

How you can help…

We are in a culture that depends so much on online reviews when choosing a healthcare facility. Encourage those you interact with to share their positive patient experiences by writing an online review on Facebook, Google or Yelp. Asking your patients to share their stories online as it lets others know what to expect from us as a healthcare provider.

You can also become a part of our online community! It speaks volumes to have our medical staff share our stories on social media with their friends and family.
