Patient Experience

I am thrilled to announce that for 4^th quarter 2018, West Valley Medical Center ranked number two out of all HCA hospitals for in-patient experience. In addition, we are at the 94^th percentile for the entire Press Ganey database (about 2,800 hospitals)! I am so proud of our nurse leaders, staff, and providers who ensure we are connecting, communicating, and caring for our patients and families. Our inpatient departments are working hard on patient rounding, white board usage, bedside handoff with SBAR and employee safety rounding. Thank you for all you do each and every day for our patients!

Education Announcement

I am pleased to announce that Sami Skogsberg, RN is now our Clinical Education Generalist. Along with our Market Director of Education - Kirie Brown, Sami will be leading nursing education for West Valley. Sami has been a valued member of our day surgery team and we are so very lucky to have her transition to supporting our nursing education needs throughout the facility! Please welcome Sami!
