Next month West Valley will host it’s first Drug Take Back event called Crush the Crisis. HCA Healthcare is facilitating the event at 85 locations nationwide. HCA wants to partner with local law enforcement to provide easier access to dispose of unused medications.
We will have a drive thru set up at the front entrance of the hospital on Saturday, Sept. 7 from 10am-1pm. Law enforcement will be collecting the medications and disposing of all that is collected.
Be on the lookout for our flyers and help us get the word out! We want to encourage those who have pain medication “stashed” away to safely dispose of it during this event.
